The Opening Ceremony of Expo 2025 will take place on 12th April 2025, with the official Opening Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Pavilion following on 13th April 2025. This occasion will be attended by officials from the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan, a high-level Japanese delegation, and prominent members of the Sri Lankan business community in Japan.

Sri Lanka’s participation will provide an exceptional opportunity to promote its vibrant culture, dynamic tourism sector, and innovative developments while fostering international partnerships. With 161 countries expected to participate and a projected 28.2 million visitors, Expo 2025 serves as a vital platform for Sri Lanka to elevate its global profile and expand opportunities in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
